This beautiful guesthouse property situated on a working farm and wine estate in the heart of the Western Cape wine country is even closer to the airport and ocean, making it the perfect, centrally located base to explore and enjoy all Cape area attractions. Each of the 16 modern en-suite guesthouse rooms are 30 sq m/330 sq ft, with an additional terrace. Our guesthouse rooms are situated between the majestic Stellenbosch and Simonsberg mountains, with vineyard, mountain and valley views, providing an environment of beauty and tranquility. We also offer 3 rooms located upstairs in the Manor House which are specially designed with families in mind. Come, relax at our pool, or enjoy a leisurely hike in the adjacent forests and mountains.
Restaurant
The Restaurant is located in the 150 year old Manor House of the wine farm, where meals may be enjoyed on the terrace on warm summer days, or in the dining room where a roaring fireplace keeps all cozy and warm during colder weather. Our menu is a set one, created daily using seasonal ingredients, such as our organically home grown vegetables, fruits and herbs, as well as fresh local products purchased daily. All meals are preceded by a glass of Rozendal's own health inspiring vinegar and are prepared with French country flair. You may also choose to experience our sumptuous meals accompanied by the superb unfiltered Bordeaux-blend red wine, which has been harvested and created right here on our bio-dynamic farm. The restaurant is open to the public 7 days a week, serving Lunch from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm and seating for Dinner from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The Restaurant may be closed for a few weeks in the winter season, so please enquire if the restaurant is open when booking between June - August. Please note that advance booking of Lunch and Dinner reservations are essential. The restaurant is open exclusively to our guests for Breakfast throughout the year.
Conference facility
